Who is responsible for your details

The site is operated by one private person based in Dubai Marina, at the address given on the contact page. There is no company behind it, no registered entity and no group of businesses sharing information between them. When you send a message through the form, that message reaches one person and is read by one person.

Any question about your details can be raised by telephone during opening hours or through the form itself. Requests are handled personally and are not passed to a third party for processing, because there is no third party involved in answering them.

What is collected and why

The contact form asks for a name, a telephone number, a contact address, a subject and a message. The name is used so that a reply can be addressed to you properly. The telephone number and contact address are used to send that reply. The subject and message are used to understand what you are asking about. Nothing else is requested.

If you book a contract review, you may send a copy of a hire agreement. That document is read, discussed with you and then deleted once the matter is closed. It is never forwarded to anyone, least of all to the company that issued it. No profile is built about you, nothing is bought from anyone else to add to what you send, and there is no advertising on this site through which anyone could target you.

The legal basis for using your details

Your details are used because you asked for a reply and ticked the box confirming that. That consent is the entire basis for holding anything. It can be withdrawn at any time, in a single sentence, without giving a reason, and withdrawal stops any further use immediately.

Where a session has actually been booked and paid for, a small record of the arrangement is kept because it is needed to honour the booking and to deal with any question about it afterwards. That record contains a name, a contact number and what was arranged, and nothing more than that.

How long anything is kept

Messages sent through the form, and the replies to them, are deleted within twelve months. Most are deleted considerably sooner, usually once the matter they concern has been settled. There is no archive of old correspondence kept for interest, and no backup held beyond that period.

Photographs and video taken during a handover walk-around belong to you and are sent to you. A copy is held only until your deposit has been released and the file is closed, which is normally a matter of weeks, and is then deleted. If you would like anything removed earlier than the normal period, say so and it will be done, subject only to anything that must be retained under applicable law.

Who else can see your details

Nobody buys, receives or is given your details. They are not sold, not shared with hire companies, not passed to brokers and not used to introduce you to anyone. This is stated plainly because it is the question readers ask most often, and because the answer given on many sites is a different one.

The site is hosted by a technical provider, and message delivery relies on ordinary internet infrastructure, so information necessarily passes through those systems in transit. Those providers act only as carriers and have no permission to use what passes through them for any purpose of their own.

Security and the practical limits of it

Messages are transmitted over an encrypted connection and are held in an access-controlled mailbox protected by a strong password and a second authentication factor. Devices used to read them are encrypted and locked when not in use. These are sensible precautions rather than guarantees, because no transmission over the internet can be made perfectly secure.

For that reason, please do not send identity document numbers, payment card details, bank information or driving licence numbers through the form. Nothing offered on this site requires such information, and if a hire agreement you send contains it, cover or remove those fields before sending. Anything of that kind can be discussed by telephone instead.

Your rights and how to use them

You may ask what is held about you, ask for a copy of it, ask for anything inaccurate to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask for its use to be restricted while a question is resolved, object to its use altogether, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also ask to receive what you have provided in a readable form.

Requests are answered as quickly as possible and in any case within one month. There is no charge for making one. Personal data protection in the Emirates is governed by the applicable federal legislation, and if you believe your details have been mishandled you may raise the matter with the competent supervisory authority as well as with the person who runs this site.
